Biography

Michael has over 18 years’ experience in litigation dealing with claims for vehicle damage, property damage, personal injury, and credit hire. He specialises in recovering losses for businesses that have sustained loss or damage to property resulting from the actions of others.

Michael has technical expertise in all aspects of claims handling; in particular claims involving direct action against insurers under the relevant domestic legislation, and claims involving the Motor Insurers’ Bureau where the third party driver is either uninsured or untraced. He has significant experience in delivering training both internally and in-house to clients.

Michael has a keen interest in autonomous vehicles and the legislation around these, and how the emergence of an autonomous infrastructure can impact the fleet industry.

Michael confesses he is a long-suffering supporter of Hereford FC, and in his spare time is also an “average” badminton player.
