Biography

Matthew is an experienced manager in all areas of the litigation process and claims handling. He has particular strength and experience in third-party property damage.

Matthew previously worked in the wider firm's Debt & Asset Recovery team overseeing all aspects of the litigation process for a large, historic client.

Further experience and specialisms

Matthew became a Senior Claims Handler at Claims Consortium Group for their property team before becoming the Recoveries Lead. He managed all aspects of recovering their clients’ insured losses, as well as helping to implement a new subrogation process for the group and to develop their recovery strategies.

Matthew has strength and enjoyment in managing client relationships.

Away from the desk

Matthew is a big rugby fan and supporter of his home nation Ireland. He is a big reader - his favourite writer is the Irish author, John Boyne. He's also a big gin fan.
